Days 46 Through 54 of the 100 Happy Days Challenge!  I can't believe I'm over halfway done with this challenge; it sure is going fast!  (Descriptions left to right, top to bottom.)

Day 46:  Friday Jeans Days at work.

Day 47:  Cap'n Crunch Delights from Taco Bell.  So ridiculously delicious!  Yum, yum, yum!

Day 48:  Attending the Garden Walk with my mom.  So many beautiful gardens around town!  Love that people opened up their yards for us to stroll through.  (Lovely photo courtesy of my lovely mother as I somehow deleted all 92 photos I took that day!)

Day 49:  Hanging out with an old friend, reminiscing about college days and enjoying the antics of his three cute boys.

Day 50:  StoryPeople by Brian Andreas.  I love the quirky art and wonderful thoughts he captures.  The one shown is one of my favorites.

Day 51:  A Cinnamon 'N' Raisin Biscuit from Hardee's.  It's been way too long since my last one (10+ years?!

Day 52:  Thunderstorms and the gorgeous skies left behind are some of the best parts of summer.

Day 53:  A text from my cousin showing me my mom does jello shots with a spoon.  Oh, she was sharing them! LOL!

Day 54:  The little mushrooms (called Dunce Caps) that have been popping up in our yard this summer.  They make me smile; I can't help but think of fairies and gnomes.

101 in 1001, Round 2 - 100 Happy Days, Days 28 Through 36

Days 28 Through 36 of the 100 Happy Days Challenge!  (Descriptions left to right, top to bottom.)

Day 28:  Burgers and onion rings (plus the super yummy onion ring dip) for dinner.  Hit the spot!

Day 29:  Beads of water on the deck from afternoon rains.  I will never tire of looking at water droplets.

Day 30:  Christmas in July at the thrift store!

Day 31:  Watching this pretty little guy - I believe he's an American Goldfinch - fly around the backyard.  I wish I would have had my good camera ready to capture his beauty.

Day 33:  Spending the holiday with family.

Day 34:  The sign my father-in-law put in his front yard.  SO.APPROPRIATE.

Day 35:  My cousin's wedding invite came in the mail.  Hands down the  most unique and fun invitation I've ever received!  I could think of a more perfect way for these two writers to do this!

Day 36:  My dad received the "Safe Helmet Award" for having his helmet on when he hit a deer on his motorcycle going 70 mph back in April. So proud he takes safety seriously!

101 in 1001, Round 2 - 100 Happy Days, Days 19 Through 27

Days 19 Through 27 of the 100 Happy Days Challenge!  (Descriptions left to right, top to bottom.)

Day 19:  My little gnome collection.  (This year I decided to display my gnomes inside the house.  I needed some summer decorations around the place and I didn't want to put the gnomes outside where they would slowly but surely get ruined by the elements so it was an all-around win-win situation!  I wish I would have thought of it sooner!)

Day 20:  Watching Crickett and Rizzo trying to help themselves to a treat from the open treat jar offered to them.  They were not successful.  They also didn't understand teamwork.

Day 21:  A beautiful evening walk with my little family.

Day 22:  Enjoying the Red Vines licorice Mitch had waiting for me when I got home from work.

Day 23:  An Etsy message that my purchases have been shipped!

Day 24:  The sunset after tonight's storm.  Mother Nature sure is a talented artist.

Day 25:  My tiny gnome homes are here (already!)!  Absolutely giddy!  They are so marvelous!

Day 26:  Basking in the morning sun with my fur-baby.  (Before yelling at her to stop rolling in bird poop!)

Day 27:  Finally getting photos from my cousin's bachelorette party and bridal shower (both in May!) uploaded to Facebook.  I love sharing memories!

Days 10 Through 18 of the 100 Happy Days Challenge!  (Descriptions left to right, top to bottom.)

Day 10:  The beginnings of fruit on our pear and apple trees.

Day 11:  Having a visitor while reading in my library.

Day 12:  Relay for Life.  Words can't describe how awful cancer is but this event is so incredibly beautiful.

Day 13:  Crickett adopted the ottoman in my library as her own.  I was hoping she'd start laying on there while I read; so excited she decided to start doing that!

Day 14:  A visit to the library to pick up my next book club read.

Day 15:  Buttery popcorn, so ridiculously yummy.

Day 16:  Lunch break with my parents and sister at a local cafe.  Good company and good food.

Day 17:  Thrifting date with sissy.

Day 18:  Hearing MmmBop by Hanson on the radio's "Old School Drive at 5."  I still think that song is pretty darn fun!

101 in 1001, Round 2 - 100 Happy Days, Days One Through Nine

I put the 100 Happy Days Challenge on my 101 in 1001 list and decided my birthday - June 2nd - was the perfect day to start.  And because the challenge is such a wonderful one (everyone should do it!), I figured I would share all my happy days here on the blog.

So, here we go!  Days One Through Nine (descriptions left to right, top to bottom):

Day 1:  Coming home after being gone for 10 days.  Vacation was fun but there's no place like home!  (I'm hoping that eventually I'll get around to blogging about said vacation.)

Day 2:  Laundry straight from the dryer.

Day 3:  Coming back to work after vacation to birthday decorations and donuts!  My coworkers are so awesome!

Day 4:  A fun evening of painting with some wonderful ladies.

Day 5:  Staying up late to finish a book.

Day 6:  Watching my former league-mates play (and win!) their bout this morning at the BrewHaHa Roller Derby Tournament.

Day 7:  Watching my guilty pleasure with my favorite little girl.

Day 8:  Parking in the middle of the garage when my husband is out of town.

Day 9:  Watching beautiful sunrises from bed.  Not a bad way to start the day.  (Hard to believe the rest of the day was cloudy and rainy.)
