I thought it would be fun activity to start sharing a quote I enjoyed from my current read. (At the rate I'm going through books lately, there won't be many!)
Here is a line from Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood that made me laugh out loud. That doesn't happen very often when I'm reading, but I couldn't help it at this perfect description:
"So I cannot sit here without thinking of the ladylike bums that have sat on this very settee, all delicate and white, like wobbly soft-boiled eggs."

i keep a book as i read where I write down notable and funny quotes as i go along ... this quote would have made it in!!
