Thursday 13: Fall 2015 on Etsy

Since yesterday was the first official day of autumn I had no other choice than to do an Etsy finds for this edition of Thursday 13.  Etsy, fall, and lists - a magnificent trio!  So, here are the items I fell in love with when I typed in the keyword "fall." (All photos from the Etsy shops.  Click on description to visit the shop.)

1.  Pretty fall leaf necklace.

2.  This adorable checkered dress looks so comfortable.  (I would need leggings, though!)

3.  Can I jump into this painting and walk down that path?  I can imagine the fresh, crisp smells filling my nose, hear the leaves crunching under my feet. *Sigh*

4.  Lovely painted mason jars.  Also, if I could get those flowers along with the jars that would be great because they look perfect together.

5.  How beautiful is this chevron blanket?  I'd love to curl up with a book under this beauty.

6.  Stunning amber earrings.

7.  The colors and patterns on these pumpkins are wonderful.

8.  This felt leaf burlap garland is so festive!

9.  Love the fun color blocking on this sweater.

10.  Beautiful wheat wreath.

11.  Gorgeous batik lidded basket.

12.  I'm not good at styling my hair but I would try really hard with this autumn leaf hair cup.  Such a pretty, unique accessory!

13.  How charming is this canvas?

101 in 1001, Round 2 - 100 Happy Days, Day 100

My final day of the 100 Happy Days challenge was bittersweet; it was exciting yet sad to have come to the end of this activity that I so thoroughly enjoyed.

Day 100:  I am a sucker for quotes, always have been, and this has become one of my favorites.  Nothing compares to family; they are my lifetime of happy days.

101 in 1001, Round 2 - 100 Happy Days, Days 91 Through 99

Days 91 Through 99 of the 100 Happy Days Challenge!  (Descriptions left to right, top to bottom.)

Day 91:  A little activity that allowed me to use the scale ruler from my college days in the architecture program.  Still love using it.

Day 92:  A popsicle on this warm evening.

Day 93:  Pretty foggy mornings on the way to work.

Day 94:  This instagram account fills my heart with so much joy.  If you don't follow @wolfgang2242, you should!  So wonderful!

Day 95:  When you're doing a deposit at work and start writing your library card number instead of the bank account number.

Day 96:  My fall decorations have come out!

Day 97:  Sunday night dinners and Mexican Train with my husband and father-in-law.

Day 98:  A cool rainy day followed by a gorgeous sunny evening.  I love the fall season!

Day 99:  My parents gave me three boxes of my childhood books today.  So many amazing memories as I go through them; feeling so blessed to have had such a wonderful childhood wiht parents who instilled in me a love of books and reading.

101 in 1001, Round 2 - 100 Happy Days, Days 82 Through 90

I can't believe I only have one more collage and a final photo before I'm done with this challenge!  It has gone by so fast!  Here are  Days 82 Through 90 of the 100 Happy Days Challenge!  (Descriptions left to right, top to bottom.)

Day 82:  The cozy quilt my parents gave me for my birthday (only two and half months late - that's how our family rolls!).

Day 83:  The park district I work for hosted its first dog parade and social to raise money for the dog park.  Such a great day - adorable dogs, wonderful people!  Feeling proud of my employer and even more in love with my community.

Day 84:  Finished furniture shopping for the house!  So excited to get the last pieces and then start decorating!

Day 85:  Watching my crazy little girl roll in her bowls of food after I fill them.  The laughs she gives me are always worth the hassle of clean up.

Day 86:  Spoiling my little girl with special treats on National Dog Day!

Day 87:  Coming home from work to a fun little gift hanging from my front door.  I have sweet friends.

Day 88:  Re-reading a classic.  I read To Kill a Mockingbird in high school (nearly 20 years ago!) but I don't remember much of it other than I liked it.  I'm really looking forward to reading it as an adult; I think I'll be able to appreciate it even more now.

Day 89:  The garden centers at home improvement stores.  So much fun looking at all the lovely fountains and flowers (and daydreaming I have a knack for those things!).

Day 90:  The look of a freshly mowed lawn.  Love those lines!
