Two weekends ago, Mitch and I took Crickett to
Fort Mandan for the 2009 Pet Walk. The morning was filled with adorable dogs and wonderful people.
Mitch was in charge of walking Crickett along the trails . . .

so that I could get distracted taking photos of the beautiful scenery.

We visited the replica of the fort . . .

and saw
Lewis and
Clark!

Crickett made friends with Kylie (whose owner absolutely ADORED Crickett) . . .

then was eaten by Logan, the 3-foot tall, 125-pound Bernese Mountain Dog. (Okay, so Logan didn't eat Crickett, but I bet he could have if he wanted to.)

Looking forward to Pet Walk 2010!

I love the second photo!
The walk sounds like lots of fun!
Wow that looks like fun! We have something like that around here but it becomes more of a contest about who has a better pet so I don't go anymore.
I'm glad you had fun!
