Fenced In
I'm beyond excited to see this project come to an end (and I didn't even work on it) and I know Mitch will be thrilled to see it when he gets home on Saturday. Crickett got to run around in the backyard without a leash this evening for the first time and loved every minute of it. It was a great evening.
Now we just have to finish the sprinklers and then we can plant some grass. It's going to start looking like a real yard here soon!

Blogging Blahs
I have not been feeling much like blogging this past month or so. (As if that isn't obvious.) I find myself not having a whole lot to say and when I actually do have something to say, I cannot find the right words. What do you do to cure your blogging blahs?
And, because I don't like to be a "Negative Nancy" in my posts, I present you with the following photo that brings a smile to my face. I was taking a photo of the lake, my sister was eating Ritz crackers - you get the idea. I can always count on my sister for a good laugh.

Pet Walk 2009
Two weekends ago, Mitch and I took Crickett to Fort Mandan for the 2009 Pet Walk. The morning was filled with adorable dogs and wonderful people.
Mitch was in charge of walking Crickett along the trails . . .
so that I could get distracted taking photos of the beautiful scenery.

We visited the replica of the fort . . .
and saw Lewis and Clark!

Crickett made friends with Kylie (whose owner absolutely ADORED Crickett) . . .
then was eaten by Logan, the 3-foot tall, 125-pound Bernese Mountain Dog. (Okay, so Logan didn't eat Crickett, but I bet he could have if he wanted to.)

Looking forward to Pet Walk 2010!
