Today I finished reading "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" by Betty Smith. If you haven't read this novel, you need to. Put it on your list right now.I can't begin to describe the beauty of this book. All I can say is that it's one of the best books I've ever read - it will forever hold a place in my heart.

i read it a couple of months ago for the first time. what a great book.
I just came back to this post today because I wanted to add this book as a suggestion for my book club! I hope to get around to reading this soon, it looks great!
