Okay, so I'm a little (LOT!) late getting this posted but I'm going to throw the "better late than never" cliche out there. See, I have been debating whether or not I should share this collage on my blog since I ended the photo-of-the-day challenge (on accident). In mid-April I missed a day of the POTD project and, being the black-and-white person that I am, decided the project was ruined and I'd have to start over again. Numerous people told me that quitting was ridiculous but I'm a perfectionist and felt that missing a day, when the challenge was a daily one, meant I failed. Someday I'll learn to let go. It wasn't in mid-April, though. In any case, below you'll find some of my favorite photos from the month of March. I will, like so many others, be starting the challenge again on my birthday. I figure that's the start of a new year for me and it will be a date that I can easily remember.

Bath Time
Crickett got her first bath with Mitch and me today. (Well, Mitch did the dirty work and I attempted to get photos). Thinking we knew our puppy, Mitch and I prepared ourselves for anything but a smooth bath time. We were proven wrong, however. Crickett cooperated like a champ and even seemed to enjoy herself. Now we have a fluffy, soft puppy who smells like "Tropical Breeze" puppy shampoo.

Confusion in the Classroom
Me: The problems with fractions are extra credit.
Student: Which ones are those?
Me: Do we know what fractions are?
Student: *Blank stare*
Me: *Sigh*

A First for Crickett
Yesterday I got the following email from Mitch:
"Crickett and I went for a long walk, about a half hour. We came home and I came on the computer and I was holding her in my arms. As I was petting her, I heard what sounded like a fart come from the general direction of her butt. I asked her if it was a fart and she just looked at me. A couple seconds later, I could smell it. Our little girl's first fart and man was it stinky."
Another milestone I missed.
They grow up so fast.

Happy Mother's Day
Normally I choose to share the photos in which everyone is looking at the camera and smiling brightly. I just couldn't do that this evening.
While perusing the photos my husband took today of my mom, sister, and me, this one jumped out at me. The "we're ready" shots just didn't compare to this one. Yes, my sister and I look ridiculous and I could have found a better photo of the two of us, but I don't think I could have found a better one of my mother. My mom is the reason I had to pick this photo. Her smile makes me smile and the happiness she is radiating is beautiful. It's the perfect way to see your mother on a day honoring her and all she's done.
Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful mother and all the other mothers out there! I hope you all had a great day!

Blogging Stats
I'm a numbers kind of girl so I did a few calculations to share with you.
January: I blogged 12 out of 31 days, or 38.7% of the month.
February: I blogged 9 out of 28 days, or 32.1% of the month.
March: I blogged 9 out of 31 days, or 29.0 % of the month.
April: I blogged 6 out of 30 days, or 20.0% of the month.
Do we see a pattern here? Yikes . . .
